Meet Us

Langley Language Services provides you the combined expertise of:  Melba Langley, Isabel Gomez Porchini and Maria Guadalupe Trevino.

Gomez-Porchini

Isabel Gomez-Porchini graduated magna cum laude from ITESM, amongst her multiple academic achievements and completed  Certification Courses in Translation and Occupational Health and Safety.  Isabel participated in the corporate workforce at an upper management level mainly in the HR, training and procedure implementation fields for a Fortune 500, GM subsidiary manufacturing company.

Isabel joined the translation world in early 2000 where she immediately excelled benefiting her corporate clients not just with her translation quality but also with suggestions on improving the professional quality of their work.

Her ability to deal with texts of a more sensitive nature is made evident with her 1st place award to a local essay contest in her hometown in 2004.

Trevino

Lulú Treviño has taught English as a second language since she graduated from IMNRC.  For 10 consecutive years her students have won 1st place in regional academic contests.

Lulú began her translation career as the executive assistant to the VP of International Legal Affairs of an international holdings company.  She was personally responsible for translating all contracts.  Later on she worked with RIMIR, a GM subsidiary, where again, she was in charge of translating contracts, government and international audits.

With her husband in the medical field, Lulú has acquired a superior knowledge and understanding of medical vocabulary and is in charge of medical translations.

Melba Langley has interpreted for key government leaders such as the then Canadian Economic Minister David Winfield, sports personalities including baseball hall-of-fame’s David Winfield and Kirby Puckett; as well as for CEO’s of major industries both from Mexico and the United States.  Melba has been teaching Spanish and English as a Second Language at a corporate level for over twenty years.  From 2001 to 2003 she taught Spanish and ESL at North Harris Montgomery Community College Fairbanks Center.

With a degree in Mass Communications, Melba adds a linguistic, semantic and syntactic dimension to improve her clients’ work quality. Melba Langley’s corporate expertise includes the financial sector, art, transportation, agricultural and information technology.  She is currently translating a literary book.
